Management of the Regional Security System (RSS) and CARICOM IMPACS recently received a courtesy call from officials of the European Union’s (EU) Headquarters in Brussels, at the RSS Headquarters.
On November 23, 2020, Director of Policing and Risk Management at the Regional Security System (RSS), Major Kerry Waterman, presented at the 2020 CASIS West Coast Security Conference on the topic How Small States Work Together for Regional Security in Complex Security Threat Environments. The presentation was followed by a group panel for questions & answers.
The courses sponsored under the 10th European Development Fund Project were incredibly informative with specific focus and emphasis encapsulated in the results of the training needs of all Member States. The training provided under the 10th EDF Project further encouraged synergies and standard-based learning for all participants connected via the vast maritime and land domains. With the generous support provided under this project from the European Union, Regional Security System Headquarters was able to ensure the seamless delivery of these courses, and achieve many of our training objectives for the last three years.
